What's CarbonMAX, and how does it compare to steel?

A carbon-fiber composite toe — lower profile than steel, non-metallic, and it holds up to temperature swings instead of transferring heat and cold to your foot. It carries the same impact and compression protection under ASTM F2413-24.

Why a wedge outsole?
